Am I unemployed? I suppose not. NO work experience still.

We can say that we've all been here, that we all know what it's like. But it is hard for me to get a job! No matter what I seem to do, to say, to act and appear like, it just isn't enough. Times are hard, yes, especially for drab old Kenosha, WI. Just around a year ago, our unemployment rate was at 13 percent! I have a feeling that those once-unemployed people have absorbed all of the jobs us teenagers once owned.

Reading those e-mails saying my application has been turned down can really get old. And I'm not alone in this one. I've talked with other Juniors in my area and this problem comes even with the few of us who once had job experience. "The best way to appreciate your job is to imagine yourself without one." That is a magnificent quote, but I'm standing on the other side of the flood completely! I have no job, never have had one and now I'm hoping to gain a foothold of some sort with my blog here.

So as I send in my application to JCPenney yet again, (which is kind of sad, I never would have imagined myself actually trying to work at a clothing store) I hope to see some views. I bid thee adieu.
